Project KOPEG offers a unique fundraising opportunity with our E-waste Recycling Fundraiser Program.

What makes this such a unique fundraiser?

  • · Simplicity

  • · There is nothing to sell

  • · No startup fees

  • · It greatly benefits our environment

  • · There is no asking for cash donations

  • · People are very willing to donate their used electronic devices

  • · There are literally hundreds of millions of cell phones, ink cartridges and other electronics in need of recycling so there is virtually unlimited fundraising potential

  • · We pay for shipping

We can recycle the following e-waste items to benefit Invisible Children:

  • · Cell Phones & Chargers

  • · Ink & Toner Cartridges

  • · iPods & Mp3 Players

  • · Digital Cameras

  • · Pocket PCs, Handhelds, PDAs & Palm Pilots

All Proceeds will benefit Invisible Children and its programs.

Instructions for getting your e-waste recycled:

1.  Project KOPEG will pay all shipping costs to send cell phones & ink cartridges directly to our facilities (from US addresses only). Once your organization has 30 or more cell phones and/or ink cartridges, contact us to schedule a pickup.

2.  When shipping the items please include a note in the box that says "e-waste for recycling to benefit Invisible Children", any sturdy box can be used.  Try to combine all your items in 1 or 2 boxes to save on shipping costs, but with a maximum of 50 lbs per box.

3.  When shipping ink cartridges, please put them in a plastic bag so that they do not spread ink on the other items in the box.

4.  Please put any number of the following items in with the box(es) with your cell phones and/or ink cartridges for proper recycling: iPods and mp3 players, digital cameras, camcorders, PDAs and handheld computers.
